I offer 1-to-1 art tuition with an experienced Secondary Art and Design teacher. I have 18 years’ practice teaching pupils aged 11 to 18 and am DBS checked. I know from experience the real benefits that Art can bring to a person’s development, confidence and well-being. So, whether you are seeking an art tutor for enthusiastic younger children, or you would like to get a new perspective on how your child can improve their GCSE/A-level coursework and further prepare for their externally set assignment and timed piece, I can help you with both.
I can tailor a package of tuition to meet your personal requirements and, if needed, can provide feedback on coursework and sketchbooks, with guidance and support on how to improve them further. Together we can explore a range of materials and techniques, developing observational and manipulative skills, experimenting and developing ideas. I have a wealth of experience teaching drawing, painting, print making, 3D work, textiles and mixed media and have a proven track record at GCSE and A Level Art.
In addition to tutoring for both the GCSE and A Level Art, Craft and Design or Fine Art specifications I also offer GCSE Textiles (Art). I have extensive experience delivering the AQA specification and knowledge of OCR.
I am able to offer tuition from my Art studio in my home in Urmston, Manchester or to distance learners via Zoom or MS Teams.
