About
I am an experienced secondary Art teacher with 14 years practice in teaching children aged 11 to 18. I have a BSc(Hons) Textile Design and Design Management degree and worked in business for a number of years before choosing to re-train as an Art teacher. I am also a Mum to two messy but loveable boys.
At Colour Curve we offer after-school classes for both Junior and Secondary aged kids and adult creative workshops. I also offer individual tuition for Secondary Art students.
I decided to set up Colour Curve partly in response to the worrying trend I have witnessed of narrowing education curriculums, where pupils’ access to the Arts has been cut or limited by schools in response to various external pressures.
Why study Art?
I know from experience the real benefits that Art can bring to a child’s development and well-being. My classes will allow children to develop their creativity and confidence in an encouraging and fun environment. Group sizes are small so your child will receive plenty of 1 to 1 support.
Please visit our Art Classes page for more information on what we offer.
